Extending Original Gameplay
The original idea is quite simple, so here are a few ideas to extend on it. I'm not saying that all of these would make it into the final game, tho without any of them I don't suppose there's any point in me bothering.
Walls (and electric walls)
Give extra structure to the maps, imagine it to be more like pacman in this sense, with pacman being controlled by a wiimote, and walls possibly electrocuting pacman (a bit like a wire buzzer game).
Instant death if you hit one!
Hidden/timed items with extra points
Kill the Guards
Give users a gun with limited bullets? possibly operated by a second wiimote? objectives could be extended to kill all guards as well as collecting the items.
allow users to set images for: bricks/blocks, items, characters, etc. Could allow for things like mario themes?
Include possibilities to play pong, brick game etc in the background while playing the main game? yea right!
At the moment the game is in early development stages so its all to play for! If you want to design some images, logos, sounds, help with coding or anything
Hey JD, I'll be happy to help you with designing the images, if you want an image of anything, just tell me it's attributes and I'll make it for you. --Salehhamadeh 17:05, 11 June 2008 (CEST)
- cool, will do.
- I've not got a clue about what to do for the game title and things at the moment (never been one for logos and such), so if you want to take a crack at that feel free ;)
- I'm working on some character drawings at the moment, and will post them on here at some point in the future to give an idea of what I'm after, but theres gonna be loads of graphic stuff to do! I'm thinking of having quite excessive amounts of images for a homebrew application! cut scenes like comic books and stuff like that... hope my programming skills and these homebrew development libraries that are cropping up can handle it!!
--- Hey, I can put together some midi sound effects if your interested. Just email me at thefinaldegree[at]gmail[dot]com - Tristan 01:51, 13 June 2008 (GMT)
--- I would love to write some music for the game. Email me at hoyeboye[at]gmail[dot]com and we can discuss some specifics.
Testers are not required at this moment in time.
