I have created a meta.xml for WiiBrowser. You can see it here. Please feel free to use it for your project. dniMretsaM (talk) 07:21, 9 December 2012 (CET)

I'd like to fix this problem but i don't have a wii right now, i have to test the code with a wii emulator. could you please try these two debug versions? (you must rename them to "boot.dol")
1) local.dol loads a page stored onto the sd card (put Gmail.htm in the same directory) -> just check if the page loads correctly
2) debug.dol creates a log file (debug.txt) in the app folder -> I'd be happy if you can send it to me
Download -> Debug
Here's the debug.txt that I got out. I still got the exception (DSI) occured/stack dump/code dump. I can try to get a readable picture of that if you wish. dniMretsaM (talk) 01:55, 10 December 2012 (CET)
thanks for your feedback. does the app crash even if you hit the "HomePage" button at start? does the app crash even if you add a "/" at the end of an inserted url? did the app crash when you tried "local.dol"? if yes, thisis a better debug version, i hope i can better understand what's happening
It crashes when you go to the home page (exception occured, etc.). Haven't tried adding a "/" to the end. The local.dol crashed, but no exception. Just a flickering screen with one line of text at the bottom (I had to power cycle my Wii to get it to stop). I'll try adding the "/" and the new debug dol later today. dniMretsaM (talk) 18:13, 10 December 2012 (CET)
New debug.txt here. It still crashes (even if you add the "/" at the end of the URL. dniMretsaM (talk) 00:01, 11 December 2012 (CET)
so far I was not able to find the problem (also because it works seamlessly on the emulator :o), if you have time we can try with this boot.elf, same url (wiibrew.org/). I'd need both debug.txt and a screen of the error

The issue should be fixed in revision 11

USB keyboard support

Any chance of it? Right now, the on-screen keyboard is quite nice but given the choice I'd rather be typing into a web browser than pointing at it. Vague Rant (talk) 08:07, 8 February 2013 (CET)

Well, I'd like to add this useful feature, but I won't have a wii for some month and I can't manage to make keyboard work in the emulator I have to use (dolphin emu)
