Hi, I'm running Windows Vista 32-Bit. I've done exactly what the guide said and made C:\projects\wii\helloworld\ and double-clicked template.pnproj. Then I went to Tools > Make and it gave me the following code:

> "make"

powerpc-gekko-gcc.exe: CreateProcess: No such file or directory

make[1]: *** [template.o] Error 1

"make": *** [build] Error 2

> Process Exit Code: 2

> Time Taken: 00:00

I've tried opening "MSys.exe" and typing "unset PLATFORM" and hit enter. That didn't help. I really want to get this working. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TheTwilightHacker (talkcontribs) 15:34, 14 December 2008 (UTC)

XP Install

I am trying to compile using Programmers Notepad. I've followed the instructions to the letter, including path names, BUT i am getting these errors:

"make": execvp: /bin/sh: Permission denied
"make": vfork: Permission denied

Any ideas, as its such a shame to stumble at the first hurdle. Steaky1212 16:10, 8 June 2009 (UTC) —Preceding undated comment added 17:26, 4 June 2009 (UTC).

how do you use and work doltool.--Wiier 20:36, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Look at Doltool‎. --Crayon (talk) 20:23, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

wheen ever i send something to the wii it says "this is not a valid wii aplication"--Wiier 01:41, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

What kind of files are you sending? --Crayon (talk) 15:04, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
dol.--Wiier 16:15, 10 October 2009 (UTC)
DOL files are supposed to work, except for certain older apps, where it's best to use ELF files. Do you have this problem with different app or just one? If it's just one, please tell us what it is. --Crayon (talk) 04:13, 11 October 2009 (UTC)
I only tried two which are the helloworld.dol file and Snes9x GX boot.dol file and both said "this is not a valid wii aplication". --Wiier 21:43, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

oh and also(i dont know if it matters)but my homebrew channel version is 1.0.3--Wiier 21:43, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

I think you should update your HBC. Are you using this version of Snes9x GX? Are you trying to run the homebrew from the SD card or you are sending it with wiiload? --Crayon (talk) 01:01, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

I did try the latest version of Snes9x GX and I am sending it with wiiload.And Snes9x GX works when i have the sd card in but when i send it with wiiload it say "not a valid wii aplication".And if i update my homebrew channel should i update to 1.0.6?--Wiier 12:29, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

It's always a good thing to have the latest version. BTW with 1.0.6 you could send a zip file with the whole app folder. --Crayon (talk) 20:33, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

I just have one more thing.When ever i try to use doltool my computer says "a promblem has occured we will need to shut it down we are sorry for the inconvince" can you help?

You are not suppose to use doltool with the homebrew mention before, they are suppose to work without having any modification. --Crayon (talk) 02:03, 13 October 2009 (UTC)
Ok thanks.--Wiier 19:54, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Question about wiiload

Hello there, The directions on the page say download wiiload from the hackmii site, but i couldn't really find it there. it also says to copy it to the msys/bin directory, but i noticed that there is a wiiload.exe in my devkitpro/devkitPPC/bin directory. is that the same one? does it need to be copied to the msys/bin or will it work from the devkitPPC/bin location? thanks, Wiiality 04:52, 20 December 2011 (CET)
