Is it not possible to extract the channel name (as displayed in wii menu) instead of jsut using a database?

There are plenty of files missing in the database.txt, most notably WiiWare titles and then homebrew channels. Would anyone be against me creating Deleter MOD/database.txt and making it an open, database.txt wiki page? Of course, it'd eventually be riddled with tons of random homebrew channel titles, but is that really a bad thing? I mean, we're only talking about adding more lines to a text file -- it's not like it's going to take up room on the SD card. It would also be useful for additions that might otherwise not be added. For instance, I could add QAP (Rondo of Blood), WGD (Gradius ReBirth), <s>and wR9 (Mega Man 9 DLC),</s> in addition to a handful of widely-used backuploader channels. -- Masamunecyrus 22:20, 25 February 2009 (UTC)

I don't know where else to post this. It seems that on especially long title names the next title is displayed twice.
+
* I went ahead and added that database wiki page and added a few titles. For those who would be adding titles, it would probably be convenient to know that you can find any WAD file's title at the address offset 0E90 if you use a hex editor. First it appears right behind the last title and breaks into the next line. Then the item appears again after a line break the arrow indicating the selected title is displayed on both occurences of the title.

The inability to easily identify tittles has always been a pet peeve for me.  Not having to go online and read the list for each ID is nice. Does this really need it's own page, though?  Lots of pages for apps have an unofficial versions section for binaries and source diffs from people who've played with the source code.  -Flark 14:24, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

*I want to make a petition, that the list of titles when you make a backup, also print out the version of the IOS, just like title lister, and this way title lister will be obsolete and we no longer need it, this is how Title Lister prints the IOS part:
