* Newer RVL-101 units appear to have [[boot2v5|version 5]] of boot2 installed, which is not available on NUS and can only be found on certain late Wii models.

* The ones that have boot2v5 also appear to have the same set of [[IOS]] versions as the [[vWii]]. Handling of [https://wiiubrew.org/wiki/Ancast_Image Ancast Images] is unknown.

* The ones that have boot2v5 also appear to have newer [[IOS]]es (while they are the same numbers as the [[vWii]], they are different binaries), with updated main contents

* [[IOS61]] v5918 is exclusive to these RVL-101 units, as IOS61 is completely missing on the vWii. The purpose of leaving this [[Stub IOS|unstubbed]] is unknown.
