LetterBomb est une façon sans danger de lancer des homebrew sur la Wii sans modifications logicielles. LetterBomb est lancé en utilisant un Message de la Wii qui exécute un homebrew depuis une carte SD. Des examples de homebrew peuvent êtres trouvés sur la page Homebrew applications. LetterBomb à été créer par la Team Twiizers. Cet exploit fonctionne avec nimporte quel version du System Menu 4.3.

Cet exploit est un exploit du System Menu, ce qui veut dire qu'il marche sans avoir besoin d'un jeu, comme Bannerbomb, maintenant fixé.

Materiel requis.

1. SD or SDHC formatted as FAT16 or FAT32.
2. System Menu 4.3 (anything lower will not work).
3. Your Wii’s WiFi MAC Address (available from your Wii's system settings). This is needed because the Wii will only accept messages addressed to its specific MAC address.
4. A way to copy the files from your PC to the SD card (card reader, printer, etc.)
5. Some homebrew software to load. Although this isn't necessary, it's highly recommended. The exploit will attempt to load "boot.elf" (or "boot.dol" if it can't be found) from the SD card root directory.

1. Une carte SD ou SDHC formattée en FAT16 ou FAT32.
2. Le System Menu 4.3 (une version plus basse ne marchera pas).
3. L'adresse MAC de vorte Wii (Disponible dans les paramètres de votre Wii). Elle est requise cas la Wii accepte des messages adressé à son adresse MAC suelement.
4. Un moyen de copier les fichier de votre PC sur votre carte SD (lecteur de carte, imprimente(?), etc..).
5. Des homebrews à charger. Ce n'est pas nécéssaire, mais hautement recommender. L'exploit vas tenter de charger "boot.elf" (ou "boot.dol", si il n'est pas trouvé) depuis la racine de la carte SD.

Instructions

1. On Computer: If there is a folder titled "private" on your SD card, rename it to "privateold"
2. On Computer: Copy the "private" directory from the LetterBomb download to the root of your SD card.
3. On Computer: Take your homebrew (preferably Hackmii Installer) and put it in the ROOT of your SD card as "boot.elf". Note that you can download the Hackmii Installer directly from the download link provided above. You will be asked for U (American), E (Europe), J (Japanese) or K (Korean).
4. Wii: Put your SD card in your Wii and turn it on.
5. Wii: Go into the Wii Message Board and navigate to "Today", "Yesterday" or "Two days ago".
6. Wii: Click on the appropriate envelope, sit back and prepare for the hacking glory.
