This page is a list of the latest homebrew news, used for the "Latest news" section on the Main Page. This is not a list for homebrew applications. A list of the most recent homebrew releases and updates can be found at WiiBrew:Homebrew Releases.
Adding an item
- Log in to the wiki. Editing is disabled if you don't have an account.
- Add the news event to the top of the list, using this format for the date: '''17 March 10:''' . Please include the application's creator, version number, and a link to a page on Wiibrew about the application. No external links please.
- Move the last entry to the Archive. There should be no more than 4 entrees in the list.

- 15 November 08: The TehSkeen Wii Coding Competition is over.
- 4 November 08: The latest Hackmii Announcement is calling for feature suggestions for HBC beta 10. (Closed)
- 29 October 08: Drunkencoders Winter coding competition is now accepting Wii and Gamecube entries!
- 26 October 08: The Homebrew Channel has been updated to Beta 9, which can be installed with the new update and includes SDHC support.
