Great Job

Thanks for your great work. I love Solitaire :) :) If you need some new graphics, sounds or something else for the game just contact me --DasBaUm 10:05, 31 July 2008 (CEST)

Looking good. I like the logo, menu and how it all gets shown when starting the app. --Teknecal 14:55, 4 August 2008 (CEST)

Great work on fixing the widescreen issue on v0.03! It works perfectly! Thanks! --Flark 10:29, 12 August 2008 (CEST)

Feature Requests

I like the game very much. I have a feature request that could be implemented in the menu options. Could we choose between having 3 cards at a time like currently implemented and having only 1 card? --Spnorth 9:38, 10 August 2008 (CST)

Got some idea. It would be very cool if you can make it possible to choose if you pick one card or three cards. I hate this three card game... If this is active I wouldn't play solitaire. --Twofive 18:02, 10 August 2008

Yeah, this is something I plan to do very soon. There will be two ways to play the game, "Normal" and "Vegas". Vegas will allow you to draw one OR three cards at one time and will score differently than "Normal". Wil 09:36, 11 August 2008 (CEST)

This is a great game and I think that there should be a little thing that happens when you win the game. Like the thing that happens on Windows solitaire, little fireworks, or something like that. --danny37415

Indeed. Been trying to figure out the best thing to do when you win a game, but haven't settled on anything yet. :) Wil 09:36, 11 August 2008 (CEST)

appreciate the game--play it all the time! On my crappy lodef tv, the backs of the cards in the new version are very "flashy"--almost like you can see the macrovision protection. I think it's the cheap comb on my 27 inch crt, but I still don't notice it in commercial games (I see it sometimes briefly in dvds but not in "still" screens). Could you make a version that loads the cards and background externally? I'd love to help create some! -Michael the Great

I wasn't planning on doing this, however for a future release I very well may allow people to load custom decks and table images. Wil 09:36, 11 August 2008 (CEST)

I'd love an option in future versions to disable the rumble feature that happens when the cursor goes over a card. It can be quite annoying to have the wiimote constantly vibrating especially when you are a speed player. --Flark 10:32, 12 August 2008 (CEST)

It would be awesome if you could save your current state of the Solitare game to a file or something on your SD card. Then you would be able to play it later. When you only have one TV, and you have to get off, I don't like starting over. ;) --Goofster1020 11:16, 24 August 2008 (HST)

Hmm, that is actually quite a good idea. I'll have to keep that in mind! Thanks! Wil 23:26, 24 August 2008 (UTC)

Great game... but i can't stand to play it b/c of the annoying rumble. --Beardface 04:30, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

Haha, yeah. It does get annoying after a bit. When I get some time to finish the options screen this will be easier, but if you selected to create an options file on the SD card, put your SD card in to a computer, browse to the the directory with the boot.elf (root directory for the game), open the INI file, and change "rumble = 1" to "rumble = 0". It will get a lot easier to change options in the next version! Wil 06:20, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

I love your game, I have some ideas for you :
- Add sound
- Add advice to each party
- Add a help section to learn how to play
- Power choose the theme of the deck
- Possibility to return to Wii Menu and to the HBC
- Add a little button to give an indication when the player is blocked

Aside from adding some soothing background music and some different card backs to get rid of the flashing on my TV screen, I really think you should eliminate the "2 button" functionality. You really only need 1 button (like the A button) to play (like in Windows solitaire). Using B to grab cards and A to draw new cards from the deck is just needlessly confusing.... I found myself pressing the wrong button several times.... You could just have either A or B work in both ways so that people can use the single button they prefer. --Mr. Reaper 19:33, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
