FAQ:

Q: Where can I download the latest version?

A: From here

Q: Why does the installer ask for my password?

A: So that it can:
1: create a folder called WiiBrew within the /Library folder.
2: install wiiload to the /Library/WiiBrew folder.
3: so that it can set the correct file permissions.

Q: Do I need to use the chmod command to run it?

A: No, the installer sets correct permissions.

Q: Why install wiiload to /Library/WiiBrew and not ~/Library/WiiBrew or $1/Contents/Resources/?

A: So that it is available to all users and to resolve an issue with moving the app to a different folder.

Q: Are you planning to update it in future?

A: In spite of, or even because of its simplicity I don't know yet if there is any demand for an updated version, however I am open to suggestions and will update it if I add anything new for myself.

Q: Is the app open source?

A: This app uses a simple BASH script to send arguments to Pashua, CocoaDialog and Wiiload, it was compiled using Platypus and so no source code was generated. However, feel free to examine the script and make use of it in full or part.

Q: Why distribute in .zip and not .dmg format?

A: To many files are distributed in disk images for appearance sake alone, this is a single installer file and is considerably more compressed in a zip, distributing it in a dmg would just be pretentious given that any OS X user can create disk images through Disk Utility (From Finder click Go -> Utilities -> Disk Utility, in Disk Utility click the "New Image" button or click New -> Disk Image from Folder).

Q: Why are you hosting this externally now?

A: At time of writing it's only possible to upload image files to this server, this is not a criticism, server space is finite and bandwidth costly, I apologise for the ad-ridden hosting site but for such a niche product available for free it's the only sensible option at the moment.

Q: Why can't I select a file? (Files are grayed out)

A: You can only select .dol and .elf files, everything else is grayed out.
