Need help porting a Debian Lenny package to Wii Linux
Hello, I'm interested in porting Fénix to Wii, but I can't do it because I don't know how to cross compile, and I don't have any old Mac. I would like to ask you, if you are able, to port Fenix package to your Linux distro. http://packages.debian.org/lenny/fenix If Fénix can be ported, also may be ported easily many games, like the ones i made: http://www.pixjuegos.com/?q=node/59
Also, excuse my bad english, as I'm spanish-speaker :) Thank you in advance for any help you may give me, or simply by reading this message :) Please, contact me at x=panreyes $x@$x.com
Organizing homebrew pages
Isn't categories or namespaces a better way of organizing pages?Felix123 03:08, 5 May 2008 (PDT)
Hi, don't just put WiiMote.svg, because I'm sure there will a Wiimote picture for each number of supported Player. Maybe WiiMote1.svg, WiiMote2.svg, WiiMote3.svg and WiiMote4.svg. - Crayon
- OK, I'll fix. Muzer 10:58, 8 May 2008 (PDT)
Muzer, in the future, please don't add images like that again. *infinite face-palm* Your work will likely have been for naught when I finish this piece of template code. --Hiker13526 20:18, 8 May 2008 (PDT)
Hi, you deleted one link on the WHL page with the following reason: "Contains code from Rayman". I don't care about you deleting the message, it's just that I want to know why it's illegal. I just want to make sure that I don't post any illegal stuff. Thanks for the information. - Crayon
- Where is the wiibrew wiki server? And are we sure copying for reverse engineering isn't allowed in that country?Felix123 23:22, 21 May 2008 (PDT)
Rollback of FCEU
Would you mind to explain your rollback of my addition of a frontSD-enabled FCEU to the apps page? I'm not used to the policies in here. --Pgimeno 07:59, 1 June 2008 (PDT)
- I added it because of the extra value of front SD card loading and not for any other reason. Even if it's unofficial, the addition of front SD makes it actually usable for me, at least until the official version supports front SD, in which moment it can be deleted again. Don't you think it's worth adding it in this case? --Pgimeno 13:39, 1 June 2008 (PDT)
Game Maker Diamond
Yeah the diamond is like the one in game maker but the difference is that it is a .png file.
The game maker License says that you can use the included sprites freely in any of your work.--Sal3000 19:39, 17 June 2008 (CEST)
our secret project (lol)
i forgot, what is the secret project? haha
Txt-read: the file I used, and etc...
Here's a link for that text file version of The Hobbit I used for testing. http://www.mediafire.com/?zdm0wgc2g2a I'm not very technically knowledgeable on wii homebrew just yet, but I'm trying, so thank you for explaining the limitations of the current version of Txt-read. GRRLib sounds like a great idea, if you can port to that. Although I did not mean to give you more work, rather just comments from my experience. I'm guessing that reading books via txt-read is not really it's intended use. lol I was simply trying for the novelty of it. Thanks again, for responding! --NikoKun 22:05, 24 August 2008 (UTC)
what is the reason to have this? when you have to modifie some part you have to change all the page not only the section you want - Yod4z 12 october 2008 14:53 GMT+1
What's the link to your blog. The one where you post your developments on WiiLinux (miight) Like how you got the new video driver from nuvalo but couldn't get it to work in PAL50. I used to have it but I forgot.
What features will be included with miight that are not available in xwhiite? I heard that It won't need to be partitioned manually, but that is already possible now with gc-linux's whiite-installer. Or does miight install directly to the system? That would be really cool, but nearly impossible considering that the wii only has 512MB. Also, a stand-alone distro (just the boot.dol) would be cool to!
