** It doesn't, but if this supported streaming one could play their tunes anywhere that they have his/her Wii and a tv, which makes it much cooler than just a client. --[[User:TheStorm|TheStorm]] 03:12, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

*** But streaming music is totally different than remote controlling an MPD music server.  An MPD server doesn't even give you access to the audio files raw data.  Being able to stream the music is a totally different program and has nothing to do with interacting with an MPD server.  You might as well ask for WiiMPC to have an embedded Mario Bros game in it.

MPD Server?

Very interesting addition. Could we also get a MPD server for Wii one day? Xyrion 02:18, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

  • Neat idea. We could call it WiiMPD :) Unfortunately, writing an MPD server is a lot harder than writing an MPD client, so I'm sure I won't be doing it. --Sshock 05:06, 26 August 2008 (UTC)

no server for windows? OSW 07:37, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

  • not that I know of, sorry --Sshock

- Here is MPD server for Windows.

Where? MCC is a client. Xyrion 01:21, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Streaming

This really needs to be the first thing on the todo list because without it the app is nowhere near what I could be IMO. --TheStorm 22:52, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
