The '''BBC iPlayer Channel''' is a channel that allows you to use the BBC's video on demand services on the Wii. It was released on 18 November 2009 and can be downloaded from the [[Wii Shop Channel]] for free in the UK only. It has a title ID of 00010001-HCJP/48434a50. Attempting to use the BBC iPlayer Channel outside the UK results in an error stating that your IP address is not a UK IP address and that you must be in the UK to use the BBC iPlayer Channel.

Attempting to fool the Wii by using a region changer mod will also not work. The channel will load as if all is well and working, but once you attempt to play a TV episode or Radio station channel, you are confronted with an error, and are unable to continue.
